Machine Aloy
The first machine Aloy comes face to face with during Horizon Forbidden West is the Burrower. Burrowers are small, agile machines that can burrow underground and attack from below. There are three main types of Burrowers:
- The Scuttler is the most common type of Burrower. It is small and fast, and it can fire a barrage of acid projectiles.
- The Rollerback is a larger and more powerful type of Burrower. It can roll up into a ball and charge at enemies.
- The Cannister Burrower is the largest and most dangerous type of Burrower. It can launch explosive canisters that can deal significant damage.
Burrowers can be found all over the Forbidden West, but they are most common in the desert regions. They are often found near water sources, as they need to drink to stay hydrated.
Cannisters Burrower sites
There are three Cannisters Burrower sites in the Forbidden West. They are located in the following areas:
- The first site is located in the northeastern part of the map, near the border with the Sundom.
- The second site is located in the southwestern part of the map, near the border with the Tenakth territory.
- The third site is located in the central part of the map, near the border with the Carja territory.
Each site contains a large number of Cannister Burrowers. It is important to be well-prepared before taking on these sites, as the Burrowers can be very difficult to defeat.
